My first PGTA transfer failed I’m worried this will keep happening. What are the chances?

I was told this was down to the embryo and not all PGTA embryos are free of abnormalities

There was a big rigorous study published a couple of years ago that found transferring 3 PGT-A tested embryos resulted in 95% chance of a live birth. It could just be unlucky, but I understand if you want to pursue other tests to rule out other factors.

It’s such a minefield!

I think the main ones for implantation are the ERA/ALICE/EMMA test, a hysteroscopy (to check womb abnormalities) and immune/natural killer cells tests. Most clinics seem to offer these nowadays so you could ask your clinic about them? You can also self refer to the implantation clinic at Coventry.

Of course, it may just be just be that you have been unlucky and you’ll success (like the study showed) within the next two transfers.
