3 day Fet measuring 4 days behind

Went in for my scan at 6 weeks and 6 days , heartbeat strong all looked great apart from I'm measuring 6 weeks 2 days. Please give me your advice is this an issue

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Did your clinic comment at all? If they were happy then you should be too. It is very hard to measure pregnancies accurately at this stage and babies are often ahead or behind but it levels off over time, its mm at this stage. Do you have another scan booked? x

Hi yes clinic was happy but just said it was a little behind but were happy with pole and sac all looked good including the heartbeat. They are scanning me next week for my own reassurance. It's not until I got home and started looking up measuring behind I've gotten freaked out x thanks for your reply I'm a little bit stressed out about it

I know its easy to say but a) don't do any more googling and b) try to not freak out - the best thing you can do to help nurture baby is to stay calm and think positive. The most maddening thing about IVF is the inability to control anything, and I know how hard it is to be worried and left wondering, but you can't do anything to influence the outcome other than the stay calm and think positive, and worrying isn't going to help at all. Heaps of luck for next weeks scan and hope things have caught up - could easily just be a late implanter or a wonky measurement x
