Hello all,

really just wondering if anyone has had a similar situatiin and knows what is going on!!??

I am 10dp5dt and I had a VERY faint line on a clear blue ultra early on 9dp5dt and today (10dp5dt) but when using a pregnancy test from the ivf clinic it was BFN - today was test day according to them.

I haven't had my period yet but I am having browny / dark red very occasional mucasy spotting - sorry for TMI!!

I think possibly a chemical pregnancy or ectopic (had both of these before!) but wondered if anyone has had similar? And is there any possibility of a bfn?

Thanks if you read this far!

Xx

I’m sure I tested early too . Just couldn't resist!

These are the symptoms I used to have during the first days after embryo transfer. (Had 2 nice 5-day blasts transferred by the BTC specialists) . The most worrying thing of all was abundant vaginal discharge I was facing for a little more than 12 hours.

That made me quite scared though we were told it was possible. (And that women do face it quite often!). My nurse explained it usually appears due to the hormonal levels and because of having taken progesterone vaginally. All in all I can describe it as spotting with more or less dark brown blood, no bleeding. Then my breasts became harder, more swollen than normal. I’ve also noticed some kind of tickle all around my nipples. And that my areolas have become darker. Also I was a little fatigued. And probably one more thing I was not prepared for – constant urge to urinate.. Not a comforting thing really. Especially when you have to concentrate on work . All these nice-lol things led to my pregnancy.

May we all hear some prefect news from you soon, fingers crossed.

You know, what bothered us the most with the previous clinic was that our RE used to never make any recommendations for us after each failure..We did a lot of testing..And evantually found out I had lost immunity to Rubella. So I got re-vaccinated and since it's a live vaccine had to wait 1 month before trying again. He did recommend a supplement for dh. Which I suspect accounts for some of the difference between cycles..Dh was taking them on a regular basis. But seems this didn't help us much. I wonder what else could we both do to boost chances and not see dreadful bfn..I am shocked at the grief I felt. I was so hopeful, and that first bfn after IVF#1 was so emotional. Even more than any of the other months of trying and bfn. I was also just not sure if continuing with IVF makes sense or if there are other options to boost our chances before we go to egg donation..Which I was not sure if we could really accept.. Then I've read a thing about mitochondria donation Biotexcom provides..This was surely another point for our further research..We contacted the clinic...Our surrogate is a couple of days after ET. Wish us luck.
