Hi guys,I wanted to ask if anyone has felt this before. I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I feel pressure in my lower abdomen near my uterus. It's uncomfortable but no pain. Is that normal? My scan is on 24th of December. Should I be concerned? My first pregnancy I didn't get this, that's why I'm abit worried. We put 2 embryos back, could it be that? Thank u in advance guys.

Feeling pressure normal.just relax when ever possible. Drink plenty of water.if u still feeling problem with urine, cranberry juice good.i just did read ur posts 🤗
Thank u so much for ur reply. I still feel this weird feeling but not pain. Around the side of my pubic bone. I got my scan on Monday. It's strange as I didn't feel it with my first pregnancy. I'll ask when I go for my scan
f it is at all excruciating unbearable, which I guess it's not since you mentioned that already... you need to be really concerned about rushing to the clinic. Well I haven't been pregnant beyond the "early pregnancy" stage but I'll agree with PP that you'll feel some pressure as the baby grows in your womb. But then I guess it will only be a state of discomfort and nothing more than that. As long as your cervix is stiff and closed this shouldn't really be a problem. I landed up on this post right now so you possibly have the scan results by now. What did it say? I Every pregnancy is different, the growth, the size, the amniotic fluid it could be anything... the pressure you're feeling now. Will look forward to your update eagerly.
Hey Katty_Holz,thank u so much for ur reply. I'm still having the pressure the same same sometimes when I wake up in the morning it's there n thru out the day aswell. It's very uncomfortable but no
Pain or bleeding. I haven't had my scan yet,got on the Christmas Eve. But u are right,it could be baby growing n expanding. I can't wait for the scan just to be sure. I hope ur ok. Thank u again
Hi Alisha79, if u want,go to GP. Don't panic honey. I think it is to do with physio. If Dr refer you to physio, they will show u some excercise.i don't think anything to do with scan but when u go for scan explain this and take some advice.i had this in my first pregnancy and few months later as well.dr referred to physio.yes excercise relive the pressure but...Now need to b careful.only suitable excercise for 1st trimester.i also need to find out safe excercise for me 😚
I'm fine, thank you for asking... just taking my chances of TTC with the stimulants of course. Well, there's one relief that it isn't anything more than just discomfort. Well, I personally don't have much experience to compare TBH, but sounds like it's just normal uterine expansion. I even did a bit of online research after reading your post and didn't find anything that should indicate any caution. Check if it increase when you retain pee and try to feel if the pain has any tingling on the cervix. Don't attempt to inspect your cervix too often... even if you maintain hygiene impeccably best not to prick the cervix much when you already feel the pressure. Meanwhile, I'll request you to limit the physical straining even over daily activities just to reciprocate to the lower abdominal pressure. Guess no alternative really than waiting for the scan for more insight. Stay Well.
Thank u. When I pee I feel it even more then it goes away slowly. I try not to do much work around the house n take it easy but it's just weird that I feel like that. Does everyone else feel it too? It's confusing.
You're welcome... we all are here to help each other overcome struggles of infertility and failed TTC. Don't bother to thank really. It's not while peeing I was asking about but while holding pee I meant.... as in when you hold it just for a while. Yes, I'll definitely suggest you continue being lenient on yourself to abstain from much physical straining especially everyday activities that people avoid during the final gestation week. I have never been that far into pregnancy to actually feel anything close to it personally.... sorry. It's been just 6 weeks that I got to... and then the dreadful loss. I'm sure others will definitely help to fill in the inputs on their experience of the expanding uterus. It's ought to be confusing and everyone on the gestation is truly more dreaded about every twitch during the time. I can totally understand how you feel with all that going on with you... be strong be optimistic.
