Myself and my fiancee have previously had 2 miscarriages, we are now starting again.
I feel as though I am the only one trying. I have stopped drinking, cut out caffeine, I take folic acid, I'm looking into moving areas of work due to harmful gases.
But my fiancee smokes cannabis every night, drinks a lot and doesn't see how it could be an issue. He has quit smoking, although he still has minimum strength vape, and all the joints are made with herbal tabacco, but this seems to be his limit.
He has supported me, grieved with me and put up with my researching everything. But it seems if he has to make a change he isn't interested.
Am I asking too much?
Does anyone know if the male smoking weed and drinking can affect miscarriage rates?

I do not blame you, I would be pretty furious!! Sorry to hear of your miscarriages, they’re just so heartbreaking 😔I think the best thing is to focus on one of his habits first to give up, however frustrating. I think you need to weigh up which one is causing more damage and then get him to give up that. I’m not sure if weed can cause miscarriages, but it can make sperm deformed and therefore lowers fertilisation rates, so I wouldn’t be surprised. Good luck and I hope he bloody well listens! Xx
That's what I'm going to try ask him to do, he just shuts down when I talk about it and won't say much, but then doesn't do anything to change. Or I get "I have no bother getting you pregnant so it's not the weed."
I hope he listens to, he is a good man just can be selfish sometimes.
