Getting mixed signals

Hi I was recently diagnosed with poly ovaries I don't feel I have them but it's what I have been told as well as the nurse telling me I have lots and lots of eggs and being told also by two different nurses that I only had it on my left ovary and then told they are both affected.

I have now decided with my partner that I want a baby. We have only been ttc for couple months. I have regular periods but this month like most I have started what seems like spotting. It happened last month too but I then got my period.

This time I started spotting on Sunday and still am. I also have cramps am irratable and some bits of blood like fleshy bits so sorry tmi.

I have gp appt on Monday but I wanna know everyone's experiences with polys and ttc thanks
