increased RUQ discomfort

Hi All,

Feeling bit worried/concerned over the past couple weeks my discomfort in RUQ has gotten slightly worse and sometimes feel same discomfort on my LUQ and back my f/ups with my consultant are not until august next year....

Should I wait couple more weeks to see if the discomfort subsides or contact my consultant to query if I need to be seen?

I just don't want to waste anyone's time if its something that happens with having NASH

Well... if you're going in the right direction I would not expect that degree of pain. However I am trying to curtail my symptoms and the pain just seems to get worse. The only time I'm not suffering is when I'm sleeping. Good luck and yes I would contact your doc.

yes after I have slept its normally fine and as the day goes on it gradually gets worse, I have arranged GP appointment and I'm going to ask if I can get an ultrasound scan

if I have a hernia that could be pressing against something, if there is something else inflamed or if my liver inflammation is worse, if its affecting my spleen and causing my spleen to be inflamed, there's lots a ultrasound can show you. even if benign cysts have grown and causing issues.

That's good to know because I just had my ultrasound with the original diagnosis about 2 months ago and it didn't show anything else... yet I'm hurting like he'll so I guess that's a good sign....

I won't start another pain thread but I have to ask everyone who does experience it. Just how much does it affect your life? Is it a minor annoyance or major problem? Are you able to work through it? Or is it debilitating? I see many people saying that they can tell a difference based on what they eat and whether they eat sugars, etc...
