Announcing The State of NAFLD/NASH Care in America Survey
This 2022 State of Care Survey is the inaugural annual survey to understand the state of care for NAFLD/NASH as experienced by patients. It will establish a baseline to monitor year-to-year changes in disease management progress.
Hi Wayne,I completed the survey but could have used room to add addition info. I have two liver diseases and NASH wasn’t diagnosed until I received the second opinion (hepatologist) of the original liver disease that was diagnosed by a GI. At the end of the GIs first diagnosis he told me I had a fatty liver too (really NASH) and to lose more weight! That was it! Completing the survey wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be with a second liver disease diagnosis but I am so happy to be able to complete it as I did!
I am so grateful that this is happening! Thank you for all your hard work for those with liver disease.
Thank you. Gathering this kind of information is difficult because of the long time involved as it evolves and people can get more than one opinion from different docs. In the end it was a balance of trying to get a fair picture without making it so complicated people would stop answering questions. We appreciate your participation.
