Liver biopsy during gall bladder & appendectomy surgery. Diagnosed, not treated. Anyone hear been prescribed medication for this? Is it common for the gastro surgeon to not treat after diagnosis and send you on your way with only diet instructions? I weighed 150 at the time 2019 and now 170. Exhausted all the time but PCP says “blood work is fine.” 😔

Would seek out a new liver specialist. Diets are not the only idea, but seek out all info on this site. Very informative.
Story of my life. (Seriously…) my personal plan is a liver study.Hugs. Hang in there. I know for a fact that an appointment with a liver specialist is very difficult to obtain without elevated bloodwork. Please take the advice & diet suggestions found in fatty liver foundation to heart & get started today. You would get a lot of testing & support in a liver study. (Just a suggestion. I’ve been sent in circles for 5 years asking from hepatologist, so don’t follow me.)
