hello liver family ,
As of lately I’ve been feeling dizziness and abdominal heat in the mornings . I feel confused and have a slight headache. Like I need to lay down , but I’ve only just gotten up. After I eat I usually feel alright . My question is , does food intake or Lack there of cause these kinds of responses in liver disease? If so does anyone have any advice on timing of ingestion and what works for them not to feel crappy ? I’m hoping this isn’t encephalopathy or something crazy .

Sorry to be so slow to respond. Can't really offer much as things like that as so vague and everyone is different but I wonder if you might be having blood sugar issues. A lot of odd sensations can be part of low blood sugar.
All good . A late reply is still a reply . I went to the ER just to be safe and My CBC came back normal . They did say my orthostatic bp was a bit off so maybe that’s the culprit . Anyway I’ll be looking into it with my GP. Your response is appreciated.
I have had this heat thing coming off my liver, I'm like you, 4 years in the dark, can't find anything but know things aren't right. Im currently pregnant atm and had to take antibiotics which I'm always frightened to take but it was important for the baby that I treat the infection so I took them and of course my symptoms came back, some had never gone away, but a stabbing pain in my back, coughing up mucus, RUQ pain and shoulder pain and he heat coming off my abdomen which was the first symptom I got 4 years ago. I haven't drank alcohol for years now and things have improved and that's probably why I was able to get pregnant but things still aren't right. You'll see I've been posting for years about this if you look up my posts, its endless! I hope you're able to find answers soon!
I hope you’re doing better. Answers have been scarce and I’ve had to be my own advocate in the face of a lot of dismissive doctors . Especially out here in the US. It’s like the Wild West 🤦🏽♂️
Have you gotten any further? My daughter is 11 weeks old and a lot of my liver symptoms are back with a vengeance, a new one is dizziness after eating or taking medication and black spots and flashes in my vision after these things too. I've just had my eyes checked and they are normal and I had liver tests done yesterday in case pregnancy has put any added stress on my liver. The heat thing has come back again too. It's really strange as I had a c section with my daughter, and I recovered so quickly so I thought my liver symptoms were all in the past but as soon as I started taking pain meds for after the surgery it all stayed up again, definitely after I started taking diclofenac. I had to stop as it was giving me RUQ pain and liver sweats after I tool it. I'm at a loss. I'm hoping nothing shows up on the lfts and then I'll have to resort to life as a pregnant woman not being able to take medication, I already don't take alcohol anymore.
