Update on diarrhea! My Dr is happy I am experiencing it!

Not to long ago I asked if anyone else was experiencing explosive diarrhea. Many thanks to those of you who responded. I saw my Dr. yesterday and begged her to do something. She asked me to describe it in detail. When I finished, she clapped her hands and said that's great! As a therapist, I was ready to sign an order for a 72 hour hold at the nearest psych ward. I explained that as a professional, having this occur at any moment was horrible, not to mention the mayhem it is playing on intimate moments. She explained that diarrhea is an indication that my body is discharging ammonia on it's own without medication. We came up with a plan to have a bit more control over when this occurs, while not stopping it. I can live with that!

So, if you have diarrhea, "Don't worry! Be Happy" .

Bowel management is one of those things you never expect when you are young. Some are able to time manage it successfully but it is like walking a tightrope. One word of advice, never trust a fart.
