Does it surprise you that 1/3 of patients who shared their age at diagnosis for liver disease were under 50? We all know that only old alcoholics have this problem, right?

The spectrum of liver disease has changed completely in the last 50 years and mirrors the increasing obesity of our society. If you are a parent or grandparent you should be particularly concerned for our young generations. If we don't learn to manage our diet better they will die younger and be in poor health for a decade or more before they die. The Fatty Liver Foundation is dedicated to saving those lives.
