Have you been taking Prilosec, Prevacid, omneprazole? Could be causing your problem.

I was on triamterene but have since discontinued the medication. Hopefully this will stop the issue as they said it was very mild. Still very scary to say the least .

I was on a heavy dosage of HCTZ for HBP. My new GP found the CKD and got the ball rolling to see a kidney Dr. I had lots of tests done , blood urine etc, and I'm happy to report that I have managed to turn everything around. The nephrologist said I am phenomenal ! He will see me in a year . He said to keep doing what ever I'm doing . My former GP focused on my weight and always fussed at me about being over weight . I'm 5'3" and 200 lbs. Since August I've changed my eating habits . Cut out alot of fat , oils etc . I drink lots of water now and making better choices. Still haven't dropped a lb. , but I'm not giving up ! Thank you for asking 😊
