Continuing the monthly group fast tradition, it's time for December's fast. With Tuesday being the 1 December, lockdown ending in the UK on Wednesday, Thanksgiving a couple of days ago, Christmas season ramping etc etc, I think when to start this fast will be very individual.
The monthly fast is simple. Anyone doing an extended fast at the end of November or beginning of December, share it here for support and fellow fasters. We will cheer you on, and tell you to stop if we are worried it's not healthy. (But don't rely on us for health advice, of course!)
We must all decide for ourselves if fasting is safe and healthy for us, but once you have established that, please use this discussion to achieve your goal. If you aren't sure what is safe and healthy for you, ask some questions and we can help you decide, or direct you to your GP.
The purpose of the group fast is for us to give each other support and encouragement.
Post your fasting plan here, then while you are fasting, updates on how you are feeling. Ask for help or advice or share hints on what helps you. Let us know how you did at the end, and maybe share a picture (in a separate discussion) of your fast-breaking meal.
I often start my fasts after my last meal on a Sunday. Others prefer to fast over the weekends starting Friday. It's all good. Use this thread to support any elongated (for you!) fast you are doing around the beginning of December.
Note: don't hesitate to start your own discussion/thread if that helps your goals. We are all supporting each other, and so should do whatever we need to be successful.

I will start mine next Saturday or Sunday, 5th or 6th, after a late lunch. Cleanish, black coffee with salt, broth (with cream if needed). 36 hour minimum, 60 hour goal, 84 hour maximum.
In this raw weather, I am finding it difficult to keep warm and keep up to my target weight - so I will opt out this weekend - but I might join you next weekend.
I am going to attempt just a 24 hour fast, from tonight after having an early dinner, until tomorrow night's dinner.
I say attempt, because my IF etc has slipped a little bit of late ..this past week, my IF rated from 12 to 16 hours only.
Also, my family and I always eat together of an evening; so I will break my fast with a dinner of, chicken breast with vegetables.
I weigh-in on Monday morning, and, it's my birthday on Tuesday...we're not permitted to travel due to Covid...so, I will be at home, on my birthday, eating birthday cake and chocolate truffles...and, back to my healthy eating and IF on Wednesday (freezing any leftovers for Christmas).....that's my plan anyway 😋
I will have my morning coffee, then it will be herbal tea, and, water all day.
