Hi everyone, I'm new to fast and I was wondering how strict are the people during their fast? I have been skipping breakfast for already long time and I usually only have a salad or some fruit for lunch as I am always out and hate rushing when eating so I'm wondering what changes would really define my fasting compare to my current habits. Thanks for all your kind help in advance

The ideal fast regime for you depends on you - and what you hope to achieve with your fast.
A strict "zero-calorie" diet is not required if you are not overweight or you fast for diabetes.

I, like you have been eating two meals a day (skipping breakfast), salad lunch, healthy dinner - try to keep highly processed carbs low, rice or pasta once a week (wholegrain), eat lots of veggies in the place of them. A big fan of stir-fried leek and cabbage and roasted butternut squash which replaces those processed carbs.
Now attempting my first three day fast!
