I was diagnosed diabetic back in the late 1990's and piled the pounds on, then in 2008 had a beriatic bypass and lost over half my body weight at that time = 25 Stone to 12.5 stone, now weighing in at around 1535 stone due to other problems such as osteoarthritis in both knees and right shoulder.

I have had one knee replacement (2022) but was LOST on the system and still waiting to have my second knee done which leaves me chronic pain and unable to walk properly most days. I make myself get up and move about even though most days I could stay in bed but that is not me, like my 86 year old mother I have to get up and do things such as gardening, going to the Wellness hub in Brandon, working 2 days a week in the charity shop and running the Weeting Drama group. I am also on the Village hall committee and am constantly round there supervising ongoing work and getting grants to enable us to do the work.
