Self Care Sundays (sign in and sync)

One of the things I do to try to keep myself well is a commitment to spend some time on myself on Sundays. I try to make some time for things that will get me set up for the week ahead as well as fulfil me in other ways to keep me enthusiastic!

* I try to refresh my bedroom with clean bed linen, make sure that anything out of place is tidied away and I have a relaxing space to sleep to keep me rested.

* I sort out my medication for the week ahead (I have a funky metal pill box to keep them in) so that I don’t have to muddle around with different boxes and bottles each day.

* I do something socially or creatively fulfilling - like cuddling my baby niece, working on hobbies, or spending time with a friend

* I set my intentions for the coming week, bearing in mind the commitments and requirements of the days ahead and I check in with how I am feeling, mentally, physically and emotionally. I try to remind myself that I am stronger than I realise, but that I’m still only human at the end of the day.

* I plan time for some physical activity. It’s easier to stay motivated and moving if I have planned something that fits in with the week ahead and am committed to it.

You might have spotted that EXI sends a notification on Sundays to remind you to fill in the health tab on EXI. When you open the app, you’ll also sync any data on activities that are stored in Apple Health, Google Fit or Fitbit.

Make sure you’re getting the credit for all of your activities - sign in and sync on Sundays! It’s a great way to look back on the week, see your progress, and commit to your prescription for the following week!
