I've had Mirena (hormone) coils since being a young woman. Im 42 now. I have a new one every 4yrs and don't have periods. The one I have in now is due to be changed 2024 but I've just started to bleed slightly. Not happened before. Anyone other ladies experienced this?? Don't want to waste a GPs time if this is common place.

Hi KawasakiGirl - if you can, speak to your doc or your gynae - any between-period or non-period bleeds at our age (I'm 43) should be checked out! (this isn't clinical advice, I'm just someone who is in the same boat, and looked this up before xx)
