hi,

can children be referred into the community continence service before they are 5 with ongoing constipation? If so how? Would it be the health visitor or gp that can refer?

Thank you

Dear Eluecd , it might be helpful for you to take a look at this Flowchart (for professionals dealing with children who have constipation). This chart details the process of diagnosis, treatment and referral if relevant.
