Potty Training

My son is 26 months and has been potty training for 4 months, he tells me if he needs to go to the toilet and recently has been going to the toilet himself. However he keeps having accidents, sometimes 1 accident (rarely more then 1) a day and sometimes we have a few days of dry pants. Is this ok or should I put him back in nappies?

No stick to the potty and take him after every meal, he is still adjusting and at such a young age there are likely to be little set backs. Consistency is key.
