Using the toilet

Hi everyone i need a little help my 4 year old son won't poo on the toilet I've tried everything possible ive been toilet training since he was 2.5 , he will sit on a hard floor as he pooing but just refuses to go on the toilet. Many thanks

I'm going through the same thing with my son. So far i have tried rewarding him everytime he goes - we made a sticker chart together so he understood what we was doing and each time he goes he chooses a sticker of his choice and at the end of the 'chart trail' (i chose 100 stickers)

we reward him with whatever he wants (there's a few choices of what we think he would like).

This worked for a while but he can still sometimes choose not to go.

He is still in a pull up as henot fully going for a poo.

I would love to hear other people's solutions too

Hi thanks for your reply 😊 feels like am back ten steps now had to start 8 movicol day has he had tummy ache alot but still no closer to him using to toilet for a poo , in too close to two years now , had no problems with my to other children they are now 12 and 10.
