Still liquid a week after disimpaction

Hi, we did disimpaction over a period of 10 days where we got up to 12 sachets for the last 3 days. I then reduced by 2 sachets a day until we got to 2 sachets a day last Monday. Since then my 5 yr old daughter is having one regular movement at the same time every day. It’s easy to wipe away and there is no soiling in between going. I’m just slightly concerned because it still seems very runny to me - it doesn’t really seem to have solidified since we finished disimpaction. I don’t think it’s overflow. Having said that, she sometimes gets the feeling she needs to go at other times of day but nothing happens when she tries except wind so I wonder if she’s still blocked. Any ideas please?? Thanks

Based on the info you are giving I would probably leave the dose as it is and just continue as you are. Then as long as no soiling, reduce movicol by a tiny bit extremely gradually but not for another month. No soiling, pooing daily, sounds like a great result!

Hi we have just disimpacted our 4yo son. We are at the same point he is doing one big runny poo usually around tea time each day. Our continence nurse has said we are not likely to get below 2 sachets daily. She has said the poop will remain quite loose but if there is no soiling inbetween this is the aim. Before the disimpaction we had soiling all day every day and he was back in pull ups as it had got so bad.
