Keppra side effect of repetitive rhythm in head

Keppra at 500 mg twice daily has reduced my focal seizures to almost none, however when I bumped up to that dose I began hearing a repetitive rhythm repeating in my mind. It’s always there when it’s quiet and everything I do seems to pick up that rhythm in my mind. One of my doctors says that could be a side effect of the Keppra. So my neurologist cut my dose and I started having more seizures. Years ago I went through the gamut of anti seizure meds, none helped long term, then totally went off but about 6 months ago started Keppra again. Helped but still an occasional seizure. So doubled the dose but now the repetitive rhythm. Can’t find any online info on this side effect. Anyone else heard of this side effect?
