Hi,
I'm sorry to hear about what you are experiencing. It's a good idea to speak to your doctor about the side effects you're experiencing. In the U.S. Dr's. advice us to stay on our medication for at least 3 months. Last year I was put on Fycompa and I had really bad side effects: insomnia, extreme weight loss, anger and irritability to name a few. I reported this to my doctors a month in and I felt pressured to give Fycompa a chance. I did and the side effects only got worse. In the end I ended up being put back on the same medication (cocktail) I was on plus an additional 5mg of Onfi (controlled substance). Fycompa did help my seizures but for me it was not worth it. If i experienced grandmal seizures maybe I would think differently. Best of luck.
