Tiredness and sore legs with Ramipril

I’ve been taking Ramipril for 4 months now, initially 2.5mg raised to 5mg. The two side effects that have really bothered me are severe tiredness out of nowhere, and inconsistent in it’s arrival (or not) AND secondly very weak legs after very menial tasks - like climbing a flight of stairs. I tend to wake up with sore calves. I now understand that coffee and Ramipril are not hugely compatible - so am giving that a wide berth.

Hi Justtheticket

As Ramipril isn't prescribed for epilepsy, its likely, you will not hear from others on this platform.

If you are having side effects that continue, it would be best to talk to the prescribing doctor.
