Can anyone recommend a decent reasonably priced bracelet and bed alarm

My brother has to move out and live alone but of course its not safe for him to alone. We want to invest in a braclet alarm that can do everything. As we may not be able to get to him. He has tonic clonic seizures randomly day and night. And regularly has one after the other. Or for over 5 minuets meaning he requires medical assistance.

Hi Paigg

Your brother’s situation must be causing you all some worries. Communicating with people on here is a really good idea. So I hope you hear from others in this community soon.

I thought it would help if I also shared our information on safety and alarms.

There are various measures he can take to increase safety. Our information safety in the home and daily living aids should be of help.

Some people may be able to get free support or equipment from their local social services. To see if your brother would be eligible for free equipment ask his local authority for a needs assessment. During a needs assessment, his local social services team will look at how he cope with day-to-day living, and identify if he might need support.
