What is an absence seizure and what is an aura I still can't figure out which is which. And I'm also wondering if the sun - a day driving g in the sun can make fits / seizures worse

In the UK, you are not allowed to drive if you are having any seizures that affect your awareness while awake. These are the driving regulations. If you are not in the UK, the regulations may be different.
Bright sunlight shouldn’t be a problem for you unless you have photosensitive epilepsy. But if you get very tired after a whole day driving, that could trigger a seizures.

i have had auras for yrs their like a weird smell for 2 seconds or so but every person get different symtoms
Hi...it's such a coincidence but I had a horrible "feeling" or absence seizure last night while family were over for dinner. I was chatting and suddenly I couldn't speak..words were mumbling out and the chatting everywhere else was just noise.i looked down afterwards and realised I'd even spilt food over myself during that time without knowing. Then someone asked me have you finished eating ur plate is full - I had no idea how much is eaten
