Hi Ruthie,

I joined about 6 months ago when my 11 year old granddaughter was going through problems with her epilepsy. It wasn't too bad but she was refusing to take her medication and she was having problems at school. What we both find helpful is the magazine that they send out. I receive it as a member but as soon as Emily appears she asks "where's the magazine Nanny " and it has helped her understand more about what others go through. And also just reading the blog is helpful for me

Best Wishes to both you and your granddaughter,

Olive

Hi Ruthie, you are welcome to join and communicate further with all those involved. I have had epilepsy for 39 years and now 14 months seizure free at last. I am also a voluntary member of the Epinews Panel that collect personal stories from those with epilepsy, edit them and collate them into our Epinews Magazine which is available online through Epilepsy South Africa, or as a member of Epilepsy South Africa. I am also on Facebook (facebook.com/lesdonn) and can be followed at Twitter (@LesleyDonnelly1). Please feel free to befriend me too.
