Callum update

So Callum has only had 2 partial seizures since 13th November (touchwood) but his mood has been extremely low, to the point our gp has put him on antidepressants. He’s just not coping very well. But he’s a strong boy and I hope in time he learns to deal with what life throws at him

I am so pleased that Callum is doing so much better than he used to.

However the tiredness and depression are key factors of this rotten neurological illness. Obviously the AEDs dull and dampen down the brain activity.

Here’s hoping that Callum keeps as epilepsy free as possible and that his lowness leaves him.

Best wishes

Richard

Yes I know that you do, but if your sons neurologist can come up with that magical answer no one can, unless you sought a second opinion; something that you are perfectly entitled to do.
