Does anyone suffer with a type of reflex epilepsy called “eating epilepsy”? My neurologist has told me it is very rare. I started having seizures 2 years ago. I had 1 seizure yesterday after breakfast, 2 this morning after breakfast, 1 after lunch and 1 after evening meal! Please offer me any help or guidance if u have it! Nicola :)

Hm, interesting! I think your'e the first I have come accross that has this! But I can't say that I now have it. Up to the age of 13 I used to have seizures always at the breakfast table when eating my corn flakes! But it wouldn't always be at lunch or evening meal. I would get flashing lights, where I would have to rub my eyes until they went away But after I then had a tonic clonic at age 13, that ended and another type of seizure came on. Hope you find better answers!
