Was told in aug last year have little endo. Im in so much more pain now..could it have got worse? And can it stop periods. Thanks x

Hi, sorry to hear you are suffering so much. Endo can get worse, it does grow so yes It depends on where it spreads & grows.it can grow and attach to scar tissue from previous surgeries & it can cause cysts on your overies & other organs. I would definitely go back to your dr. Scans may or may not show the endo. It can only really be seen by having a larascoptomy, which in turn is more surgery, causing it to spread & grow unless it's all removed. I'm not sure about it stopping periods maybe someone else can answer that for you. I do suggest you get medical advice though for the pain. Good luck x

Thanks for your reply. I had a laparoscopy n he said there was a little endo there n it was left at that. Im defo going back im in agony every day now its a nightmare.

The amount of pain you have doesn't necessarily indicate how much endo you have - some people have mild endo and severe pain, and vice Versa. However, the fact that your pain has worsened suggests that the endo may have spread and you should see a gynae - really it should be treated surgically.

Have you taken any hormone treatments that could be affecting your periods?

Hi. Cupcakegirl. No only thing ive had was the pill. After my lap they never explained anything just said i had a small amount of endo and that was that.

Forgot to say not been taking my pill since end of jan as was going on depo but ive not had a period since then to go on it .

And im not pregnant.
