Do you ladies think this is ever achievable when the damage is so extensive inside your abdomen?

Hi kirsty-anne,

Im so interested to see if any of the ladies can offer advice on this !!

Have you tried aqua aerobics? Not sure that would be any good. Xx

I would be interested in an answer too, don't even minds if its not totally flat, just better than it is! I've tried spinning and boxercise, loved them both. Tried swimming too. My belly has left me feeling underconfident x

I did intense Pilates both on a reformer machine and mat for year, my core strength just could not improve . I also have lower back problem, 3slipped discs.. My physio has said she has a lot of women clients who have had gyne ops who have poor core strength and consequently lower back problems. Not encouraging unfortunately ! Sorry x

I wish I could say I'd managed it, but nope. I have a very taught if lumpy stretch across my tum where the laparotomy gash was, but right above it is a muffin top sag of me which just won't oblige and disappear. I can feel my muscles working around the belly button and also below the gash, but between belly button and gash is no hope land. It's doing it's own thing and won't shrink or tighten up at all. i've given up on it.
