After my op all i was told was i had endo in 5 places what does this mean? Can anyone help.

This is all i know. I dont understand what they mean 5 endometrium bits or 5 organs or what i dont even no wat stage it is or where i have it and the more i think about it the more i get frustrated. As now i am probably going to have to pay to get my records. X

Do you not have a follow up appointment? You usually have a follow up appotment around six weeks after your op (a long wait I know). Also after your op the hospital usually give you/or send a note for your doctor (although this is usually very brief). I would make an appointment with your GP and ask them to follow it up for you at the hospital to find out exactly what was found during your operation. You shouldn't have to pay to get what you're entitled to. I had a similar experience with my first op, was told very little. Make a fuss if you have to, it's your right to get answers. Yes but they still never told me either.And this was nearly 3 years ago. Do you think im still entitled to it? X

Why do you actually want to know? Which sounds like a stupid question...what I mean is, are you suffering from more symptoms? Has something changed which has made you think about it more?

Also, three years on, it's likely that the situation in there has changed anyway

Make an appointment to see your GP as Jules says, they should be able to go back through your notes on the computer while you're sitting there and tell you exactly what was said

Thank u for your answers the reason why i want to know is because im in ALOT of pain again and havnt been for a while but its getting worse and worse and i think its my endo xx
