Hi

It might be, but it could be from any medication you are taking or you just finished.

Thanks Jo

Haven't had migraines for years and they were usually around period time, was given codydramol after surgery and had to stop taken after 3 days because of side effects. Haven't taken any for 6 days now.

Try to follow a diet to tackle migraines with no caffeine, no chocolate, no citrus fruits and loads of water. it usually helps a bit with the pain

Hi, I am also getting the pains mainly in my right side temple,. And when it gets really bad it is in the back of my eyes, down the side of my face like I've been slapped very hard and neck. I do not take regular medication just to let you know.

I am followiing the diet and it helps emensly with my endo pain, period pains, energy levels, fatigue, sickness all matters of health benefits but I have found from talking to other endometriosis migraine sufferers that it could be a mixture of fatigue, lack of water (as jojo777 said) but also a deficiency in B complex's and Iron seem to be the main culprit, So if I were you book yourself in for a blood test at your GP's for a blood test to test for definciencies lovely.

I have been told by many gp's that progesterone only pills do not cause migraines. I know this to be untrue as every time I take any "pop" treatment, I get 2 or 3 a week for the first month or so of being on it! I would say hormones play a big part of my migraines so it could be that your hormones are a bit unbalanced.

There is a migraine community on healthunlocked which I'm a member of too. They have lots of tips and tricks to help. Just go to "my communities" right at the top of the page, a list drops down, then click "browse other communities and it's under "M" for migraines.

Do you get a visual disturbance along with the headache or is it just the headache?? Are you on any hormone treatment at the moment as you might need to let your gp know you're getting migraines xxx

Thank you both, yes I do get visual disturbance, left eye and the pain is in the left side of my head and neck. I am currently on no medication or hormone treatment. My op was 30th October and have been to my doctor who has signed me off 4 1 more week before I return to work. I had mention going on the pill as I had read that this can help, but was told I was too old at 45.
