I just bought a recipe E-book for Endo on the site endo-resolved.com/index.html and now I totally regret it because it looks so difficult, has anyone tried this and does it work?
I hope to marry a chef one day...

no i haven't but i was thinking about it not sure though, is it any good?
What kind of recipes does it have?
i had a look at that book its so difficult and confusing!
That was the reason I didn't buy it and the reviews I'd read weren't very positive. If you are prepared to overhaul every bit of your eating habits then it might be ok but I love food and was not prepared to give up so much, especially at once. The only rule I stick to is if after eating something I get an increase in pains, I will stop eating or find an alternative. I've had to change from deep pan pizza bases to thin crust and that has helped me plus, unfortunately, cake adds to my pain so if I want something cake-ish I had a Weight Watchers cake, for some reason these don't hurt me. A lot of the things they recommend are only available from food stores. Are you going to give the book a try? If so, let us know how you get on xx
Hi NoshB I've got this book and it is ok. Out of all the endo cook books this seems to be the easiest to understand. I must admit it's early days for me and I haven't cooked anything from it yet. I'm just trying to cut things out slowly as it's all a bit overwhelming.
Good luck with it x
HI guys this doesnt seem to be to difficult, it just needs a lot of time and patience which is a bit difficult if your tired and in pain but it has a lot of useful of information on it!

Im really interested in the endo diet ... i just find it wierd that no doctor has mentioned the benefits of following this diet to me, and deep down i feel if it was proven to benefit/help we would be advised/guided at our appointments ...
Yes i asked my gynacologist and GP about this subject and he didnt have a clue about it well he really doesnt have a clue about anything except for hormones which is what gynacologists are educated in however if you ask a food doctor/nutrtionist etc they would have more information and advice on this.
I tried the endo diet and struggled so I saw a nutritionist who specialised in female health and endo. She was able to tailor a diet plan for me, still leting me have the odd bit of choclate and a glass of wine at the weekends! Its gluten and dairy free which is tough but you get used to it. It has made a huge difference to my pain. i would'nt go back now. I hope this is helpful.
