Endo in stages
well i got stage 4 endo and that means its servere so i guess as the stages go down they get less servere. x
also i guess it goes by other things to for example i dont get my period till every 6-8 months where someone with a different stage might get there periods every 2 months or etc , im not sure on this but i think so because when mine wasn't so bad i had periods every 3 months.
The stages are given by the doctor well mine was look here are the examples

Hope i was some help
Thanks that's great!
My consultant refuses to stage women - he said that the stage isn't reflective of the pain and he doesn't think it's helpful in terms of treatment etc. He said mine was severe, widespread, and very active, but that other people might have a quarter of what I have, but that it causes them the same amount of pain x
This is true cloudy, my consultant told me of women who had massive clumps of endo and didnt have any pain, whereas I had little but in every place imaginable. Agony. The amount does not reflect on the pain x
Completely agree too but I think its also to do with people's pain thresholds too. Some people may have a bad case but are actually very tolerant to pain.
I don't like the stages. I have in all laps had stage 1 or 2 but I've had 4 laps in 6 years. If I'd left it it would be stage 4 I am in so much pain all the time so stages don't make diff. I know loads of ppl with 4 n they don't get pain n have recntly had kids
