Finally confirmed Endometriosis

I finally got my MRI results back, I really didn’t think anything would be shown after reading a lot of people saying nothing showed up for them on MRI and after multiple ultrasounds not showing anything.

My MRI showed endometriosis over my uterus towards my cervix and also over my ovary as well as fibroids and an endometrioma on my right ovary. I actually can’t believe so much was found on the scan.

I finally feel validated. I’ve had so much pain and fatigue over the years and been fobbed off saying it was IBS, bad periods or anxiety.

I don’t really know why I’m writing this post. Maybe just to tell people not to give up. Keep fighting for a diagnosis.

It is a relief when there is something found, I felt the same but after op. Glad they did MRI first though, I didn't get that.

We shouldn't have to wait for results to feel validated though, Dr's should believe what they are told.
