I'm on these hormone injections but they seem to be really affecting my mood badly is this a normal side effect?

I’ve never had these injections but I know a few people that have and I know it affected their mood too. Are you on any add back treatment (HRT)? Xx

I’m currently on zoladex injections too and they’ve definitely affected my mood. It is a normal side effect unfortunately. I’m going to be starting hrt as of next month, so I’m interested to see if that helps!

Unfortunately I'm not allowed hrt due to family history so I'm not sure what they can offer me.

I had zoladex for 7 months until January. And my mood was awful even with hrt! I just didn't feel myself at all.

The side effects arent nice and I had very minimal side effects compared to others.

I never had the mood swings with prostrap I'm going to ask the Dr what I can do. I seem to have teenage level mood swings

I had the injections and had to stop them the side effects were awful fit me.Really low mood ,aching joints not being able to sleep.I had the HRT but had really bad headaches from it so had to stop taking it all together. X

They did make me a little bit tearful but overall the positive outweighed the negative by miles. Double check about HRT and your family history because some GPs and even consultants are still working to out of date information xx

I have because my mum has had cancer four times I am too high risk for hrt.

Hi yes unfortunately they do I suffered really bad and put lots weight on I was lucky if I got out of bed every few days my mood was that low even with hrt added

I still have spotting after a period it's now 14 days I just feel fed up.
