Zoladex headaches - strange situation, advice much appreciated

Hi guys - I know that zoladex can cause headaches but for the last 5 days I’ve had headaches that have left me in tears with agony and winding up in a&e.

I had my 3rd dose last week and in my previous two doses had no headaches at all. For those of you who’ve had zoladex headaches did they start from the 1st dose or later on as I find it so odd that they’ve started on my third dose.

When the nurse was giving me my dose last week the needle and the zoladex tablet junction broke. She got really panicked and ended up having to pull a bit of the equipment out from my tummy and told me not to worry as no zoladex went in, and then gave me a dose on the other side.

Since then I’ve been feeling so awful - chest pain, fever, headaches, nausea and in my first two doses I was relatively ok with just hot flushes. The a&e doctor and my friend who is a doctor are both wondering if maybe by accident I was given a double dose when the needle broke.

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone had anything similar happen to them with the equipment / needle-pellet junction breaking while it’s being administered?
