Hi, I haven't had this yet but having first private physio on Thursday. My specialist said that if the NHS could afford to refer all endo cases to pelvic physio they would.

I am hoping it helps me.

May I ask what symotoms you have ?

x

Thanks for your reply :) well if your consultant said that I’m hopefully it will help then.

My symptoms are severe pelvic pain when I’m bleeding (on mini-pill continuously but still get bleeds every few months), I also get sharp stabbing pains down below often which I feel make me hold myself very tense. Also had a lot of pain during sex in past but not in relationship currently. How about you?

I really hope physio helps you… please let me know how you get on with it too x

Hi, I was having horrible pelvic floor issues a few years back. The frequent desire to go to the bathroom was my major symptom. Every second of the day, I had the desire to urinate, but even when I did, I didn't feel any better. It wakes me up several times during the night, although I only urinate in small amounts. I've been in pain because of constipation and bladder issues. As I contract the muscles in my lower abdomen to go to the bathroom, the pain begins in my pelvic area near my bladder, and if I continue to push, the pain intensifies and travels a bit towards my rectum. This ( physiomobility.com/ ) therapy was recommended by a friend who had similar issues and was helped by physiotherapy. My physical therapist was specially trained to help me strengthen or rehabilitate my pelvic floor muscles, so I started going to his appointments. My pelvic floor physiotherapy included exercises, manual techniques, and movement coordination in order to relieve the symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and assist the muscles to work properly. I started to see a difference after each session, and I am now completely healed!
