Guys I'm going through so much I'm confused, scared and sad.I don't know who to approach for help and how to go on about the impact my 4 Operations have caused me...I had operations due to Appendicitis and because it had ruptured it caused ovarian cysts and severe endometriosis..I had to have major operations to remove the cysts and endometriosis..I only have matric n I had to work in retail with these Operations but I didn't cope because I did strainous duties and I had to quit ,ended up in hospital.ive been the breadwinner at home as young as I am n I decided to go to college to get a qualification in order to get a job that will accommodate me but my pain was severe my Drs ended up cancelling my studies...I am now at home, recovering from my 2 weeks old Major Operation which also came wth results that the condition has blocked both my tubes...I feel useless,no job, no income for my appointments, no money for treatment, no school...

I don't know what to do or how to feel

You’ve had such a tough time and this sounds so hard :( would you be able to talk to someone about it? I know part of my healing is just getting over 10 years of medical trauma and interventions so I’m talking to a psychologist. Sending (gentle) hugs xxxx

Thanks alot dear, I'll consider that..it's difficult having to explain to family how a Virgin ended up in Gynae with Multiple Gynae Operations and blocked fallopian tubes...It's so hard

I'm so sorry you're having such a tough time. I agree with Catness that having some sort of talking therapy will help- I saw a pain psychologist a few years ago because I was diagnosed with chronic migraine (at the time I had 15+ a month & was disabled by it). I begged my GP to refer me as I knew it was impacting on my mental health. It was the best thing I did to come to terms with my diagnosis, to learn to be compassionate towards myself and also to figure out how to have a life, work etc without overdoing it. I've recently been diagnosed with endo & now I've recovered from my op I intend to go back into counselling for that. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but as you've had a major op give yourself some time to recover before you start putting pressure on yourself.

Study/work wise - could you do some home study so you can work at your own pace without the pressure of deadlines etc? There may be some funded through the adult learning loan and there may be grants if you're not working too. Study something you're passionate about that could lead to a career where you can be more flexible with your hours & won't be as strenuous on your body.

Good luck xx

Thank you dear, on my next appointment with my Gynae I'll ask for a referral to see a psychologist. My Drs at some point feel that I'm too young to have such a complicated life with so many Operations and now recently discovering that my fallopian tubes have a problem..They trying by all means to help me get financial compensation because of my health , we have been trying Sassa even cause they stated I cannot do manual labor anymore or any job that will require alot of strength and cause complications
