Primolut N side effects

Hey ladies. So I started taking primolut 8 days ago and since yesterday I've been feeling as if I'm on my period (painful cramps, dizziness, depression) but without bleeding.

Has anyone used it and got similar symptoms?

Xx

I was given it to try and help my mirena settle and stop the cramps and bleeding. It seemed to make things worse plus I became extremely depressed. I was only on the tablets for about 6 days. My GP told me to stop them. I don't react well to artificial hormones. Really sorry for how you're feeling right now, I know I'd never take them again personally. I'd go back to your doctor and explain the side effects.

Thanks for your reply. Guess my body is not responding well to these hormones as well. I've tried Provera pills before but it was a nightmare! :(

I'm going to see my doc and talk about it.

Yes while hormones work well for some, for others of us they are a complete nightmare. I've had my coil removed now to. I'm just trying to manage as well I can with diet and supplements. Hopefully your doc will have some suggestions :)

And hope you feel better after removing your coil :)
