Hey fam 💛

Diagnosed Jan 2016

First lap 2016

Second lap July 2018

Ultrasound Dec 2018 shows 6cm endometrioma, cyst. Enlarged ovary and ‘bulky’ cervix

Although endo can elevate ur CA125 it has never affected mine until now. Referred as precaution for cancer

Has anyone had results like this? What was outcome?

My sister had a result like that. Went for further tests and she was clear of cancer. They couldn’t really give her an answer on why it was elevated but they said nothing to be concerned about. Apparently with endo suffers it can elevate x

hi. This happened to me. Mine was 2146, id just had emergency surgery for a ruptured cyst and I didn't even now I had endometriosis. The hospital were brilliant I had ct scan and further tests within hours of the results and they contacted a specialist at another hospital, they couldn't find anything on the scans and repeated some 6 weeks later. The bsge specialist said that it's common to see raised levels with endometriosis especially when cysts are involved. Clearly they need to thoroughly check you out but its just as likely to be your endometriosis causing it. I had to have further surgery and after this it dropped to 201 and they were happy with that level with the presence of endometriosis. Xx

Hi I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in sept with a ca125 of 105 and then another test in Dec and it had gone up to 125 so seen my consultant today and he isn’t worried about cancer as this is quite normal with endometriosis . Hope this helps

Yep, I've had an elevated Ca125 in the high 80s before. Did you have any particularly bad endo symptoms around the time of your blood test?
