Recently seen the Gynaecologist who confirmed I have endometriosis, Adenomyosis and scar tissue in my pelvis, although in pain was told that my coil had probably run out early, therefore a new coil was fitted (5th one!). This didn’t go quite as smoothly as it had in the past and I had quite a lot of bleeding. So have been discharged and told if symptoms remain with new coil I need a new referral. I don’t know what stage endo I have and no discussions had about the Adenomyosis. I thought the coil was a treatment for endo, so does it only mask the symptoms? So confused!
