endo w/ bowel symptoms

For those of you who experience bowel symptoms, how do you manage sharing a bathroom? I am moving into a house with my partner. I am used to having my own bathroom so I'm really worried about sharing with him during a flare-up, particularly if he needs to get in the bathroom etc.

I have really bad bowel flare ups, sometimes to the point I think my partner will peg his nose from the living room. When we first started living together I would end up putting myself in a lot of pain trying to hold it all in till he had left for work; which looking back was silly.

I find the best thing for us is just using a bit of humour, if it happens now he showers while I poop and I brush my teeth whilst he’s pooping. I explained everything to him and basically we just take it as it comes and just have to flip the way we do things in the morning and then have a good laugh whilst my I do the most inhumane trumps and poops, it’s not ideal but sometimes it’s our only option.
