Mine is occasionally like pencils/ribbon. I never know what’s going to happen with my bowels, from going 5 times a day, to not going for 3 days as no urge, to diarrhoea, to constipation or to feeling like I need to go and nothing happening.

Yep, every so often. I follow a fairly strict diet to ease help my bowels. Totally dairy and gluten free but sometimes I want a cookie... That's when I'll suffer.

I use to get pencil looking gone but now on a diet and it's alot better and going regularly. That seems to solve the issue

I read that ribbon-like poo should always be checked by a doctor to rule out colon cancer. It’s worth getting it checked out for peace of mind.

Iv been doing some research on it and it could simply be down to diet and if your an ibs sufferer also. I have endo on the bowel, and have lost all urge to go to the toilet, have to use suppositories to go every single time x

I sometimes did before surgery. I think it was from the giant endometrioma pressing on my bowel, because it doesn’t happen anymore.
