Have you seen your Theatre Letter which will have been sent to your GP? If not you could ask your GP for a copy. That might refer to your stage X

I haven't been told a stage, in all my hospital letters and notes it is just referred to as severe. I have details of exactly where it has been found and the size of the larger lesions. I don't think it's that important TBH, otherwise the doctors would be using it.

I agree! I'm seeing one of the top specialists in the U.K. and he doesn't use it. Neither did the three gynaes I saw prior to him. It's an American system and it was used originally for fertility reasons. I think it's helpful to know whether you are mild, moderate or severe. But that doesn't necessarily point towards how much pain you're in!! On the system I'd be stage 4 but I have very little pain and in terms of fertility, I have three children.

I was never told a stage either but when I asked how bad it was the doctor said mild? I'm hoping to see a specialist soon and get more information. :-)
