Yes I got sharp pain when I peed.

Dr sent me to urologist to see if endo had entered my bladder .' It had not . But endo or scars right by your bladder can give you pain .

The tightness you speak I'm not sure if it's the same as I had, my daughter calls it the tire pain.

Feels like something is pulling and squeezing . It went from back to Stomach . It lasted under five min when we got it .

But tightness or sqeezing is usually an adhesion trying to pull away or endo trying to pull away from where it's attached .

It still can't get out of your body even if it frees itself . Could also be an endo cyst on your ovary .called chocolate cysts .

They usually have to be removed because if they burst it can spread out and cause more damage

I had a MRI and they found a hole in my ovary that was leaking some kind of leaking and it was because of a cyst but they found no endo .. JUST damage .. but I should be able to have a lap soon?

I don't know what would leak unless a cyst broke .

Tell them you want Lap ASAP

Also my helpful mother in law said I was sitting on the toilet wrong

Is there a wrong or right way to sit do you thinks????

in reply to Shelly92

Yes, according to some physiotherpists supposed to sit on a toilet with your feet on a step stool b/c it lets you fully release the muscles in your pelvis.

Have you been to a pelvic floor physiotherapist?

I have another comment talking about pelvic floor dysfunction in this post which is very common in women with endo due to tensing when in pain.

Hi,

I had a lot of pain peeing too. Usually towards the end of urinating it would feel like a squeezing tight sensation and pain would shoot up into my abdomen. It started just during my period and over time just was most times Id go. This was one of the symptoms that convinced my doctor to send me for a lap as he said it's common to have pain related with your period if you have endo. Sure enough they found it on both ovaries and uterovesical fold which is the part I believe was making urination painful. The pain was super bad for a few weeks after lap as I guess it was all swollen as I had diatherthermy to burn it off. now it's much improved so diathermy has helped. X

AH Thanks you! THIS IS exactly what I get! Stay strong !

Although a lot of ladies are saying it's endo rea layed id have to disagree, I have endo and pelvic floor dysfunction. Before I went to pelvic floor physiotherapy I experienced this all the time however once I started to massage the muscles and work on them it went down.

The pelvic floor is made up of different sets of muscles which all work together so that you can hold in everything and then upon going to the washroom release them.

If you have pelvic floor dysfunction what happens is your muscles are constantly tensed from either pain or an injury from child birth. What happens in the case of endo is your in pain, your body tenses (you bite down, curl in a ball) and by doing so your muscles continue to do that till they are in a tensed state always. You can make it worse by wearing tampons (not sure if you do) since you'll essentially do a kegel around a tampon and your muscles can wrap and hold that tampon in place and since it's around an object too your muscles will be tighter, in my case tampons made my cramps worse and that's why.

Also if you workout you can further tense these areas up.

Hope this helps, I can give you an exercise.

Hi I'm in agony and have a poor flow when I wee! I'm in so much pain it makes sense that if your body is tense it will make matters worse! Can you please tell me any pelvic floor exercises you did to relax your body to help ease the pelvic pain xx

in reply to meg06

I can't since the things I do could make you worse, I'm not trained and am already flexible due to being in ballet previously.

The thing is the pelvic floor is a network of muscles some deep and some superficial, what may work for deep muscles won't for for superficial.

First off stop doing anything at the gym if you are, esspecially core workouts and Pilates, these will only worsen your condition.

This will work for superficial: m.youtube.com/watch?v=x7Hep...

You could try very easy yoga but stear clear from cobra pose which will stretch out your pelvic floor but if done improperly will result in a pulled muscle.

Lunges are good and open up the pelvic floor.

Work on relaxing, so do reverse kegels.

Actually working on birthing exercises might help, that's what my PT is having me do so I learn how to relax.

Please try to see a pelvic floor physiotherapist who will be able to access you and give you a treatment for your needs.
