Does anyone have experience of trying the coil for deep endo and adenomyosis without surgery ? How did it go?

Yes I had the Mirena fitted without surgery for Endo. I wont lie it was tough BUT the 2nd time (5yrs later) as I was in such a state & have a phobia of procedures & medical staff, the gave me diazepam before during & after & a numbing gel which helped a lot (plus painkillers an hour before)

Took a while to settle but was the best thing I ever did as I had virtually no bleeding for 10 yrs & minimal manageable pain.

The bleeding immediately after was horrendous though & if I hadnt been reassured this was normal I would have been very frightened.

All the best
