Excited to finally getting my op date next week for robotic keyhole hysterctomy. Hopefully this year I will be on the road to a recovery

thanks love will keep u posted just lot of scans and tests that I'm going through just now due to Endo flair up plus on hormone medication for endometrial cells

Oh hun same as me. Had countless blood test me i scans and ultrasounds been on prostant injections for 6 months now so just waiting to get my date for my robotic keyhole hysterctomy. Hoping it's Sept x keep in touch hun x

If you are having a hysterectomy I'd head to the hysterectomy association's website (hysterectomy-association.or... as they have lots of advice on hysters and the chat forums got me through mine 18 months ago.

Be sure it is being down by BSGE specialist though - mine wasn't and 18 months on I'm still suffering endo pain as it wasn't all taken out at the time, and so continued to grow.

Hey, I am having the same next week, when is your date? I am having it done at a BSGE centre, we have tried all the other options, so this is the best one left for me. And my gynae is the leading specialist in endometriosis, so he will do a thorough excision at the same time.

And yes, come join us at the hysterectomy website that Marcia gave you, there is so much good information there as well as a chat forum for women having their surgery in August, so we can support each other.

Oh thank you so much. Felt like I was the only one going thro this. I have finished my 6 month course of injections. prostant I think there called.

I have stage 4 endoand is around my bowels too so I have to have a bowel surgeon present also.

I am not sure on a date as I am seeing my specalist on the 15th Aug so hopefully he will give me one when I see him.

Those injectionshave effected my bones and strength. Feeling like a old lady and am only 40.

I am also on hrt my periods have stopped while I've been on them for 6months. It's would be lovely to keep in contact with you. I have tried to log into that site but it keeps saying there was a problem please try again later x
